The heating bundle is a U-tube heat exchanger installed inside the calorifier shell for indirect heating. With a rated capacity of 180 kW, the bundle is engineered to achieve one-hour recovery, ensuring rapid reheating of the 1500-liter water volume.
Steam enters the heating bundle as the primary medium, condensing within the copper tubes and transferring heat to the secondary side (stored water) on the shell side. The bundle is fully flanged and designed to be withdrawable for easy inspection and replacement.
Primary Construction Materials
Tubes: Copper Integron tubes
Tube Plate: Stainless steel
Header Chest: Mild steel
The combination of copper tubing and stainless-steel tube plates ensures excellent heat transfer while maintaining resistance to corrosion and thermal fatigue.
Calorifier Body & Mechanical Design
The calorifier is a vertical, cylindrical storage vessel with dished ends on both sides. It is built from high-quality carbon steel, providing strength and durability under pressure.
Operating & Design Parameters
